Southend on sea City Council Interactive cycle map

Use this map to discover some fantastic cycle routes, both on and off road. You can find quieter roads, roads with a moderate amount of traffic and busy, fast roads to enable you to find the right route for you. Plus, the map shows where you can find cycle tracks, shared paths, secure cycle parking, and interesting spots to visit. Just use the Key to figure out what each route classification means.

How to use the map

Click on the map to the left to zoom in to the next level of mapping. You can then move around and zoom in to get a closer look. Some map symbols are interactive, so you can click on them to see more information. You can also switch between different layers, including viewing all or choosing a specific cycle route to see it on the map.

You can also use the ‘Search’ function to find places, roads and points of interest on the map.
